Local McDonald's to relaunch, offer modernized guest experience

New technology, modern décor and table service will help create a modern guest experience at the McDonald's at 750 E. Carmel Drive.

On Monday, July 16, this local McDonald’s restaurant invites guests to experience updates to the restaurant in an effort to showcase a new level of choice, engagement and service.

McDonald’s Owner/Operator Mohommed Moalikyar and his Carmel restaurant team are placing a higher emphasis on hospitality by focusing on greeting customers, assisting with new technology and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment.

This new restaurant model has been successfully rolled out in more than 2,600 restaurants globally and one of approximately 3,000 McDonald’s in the U.S. to undergo this transformation to dramatically enhance the guest experience.

McDonald’s is accelerating its restaurant transformation in the U.S., bringing this new experience to nearly 4,000 additional restaurants in 2018 with plans to transform most freestanding U.S. restaurants by 2020.

On Monday, July 16:

11am: Ribbon Cutting (note to media: suggest arrival at 10:50am)

12-2pm: Grand Opening Celebration

2pm-3pm: ‘(Soft) Serve it Forward’ Ice Cream Social with Indiana Dairy Farmers and local-area Girl Scouts

The ribbon-cutting and celebration will feature local McDonald’s Owner/Operator, the Mayor of Carmel and other community leaders, digital self-order kiosks, McDonald’s crew members serving food to tables and local-area Girl Scouts participating in ice cream social for National Ice Cream Month.
